    Job DescriptionResponsibilities:

    • Performs cashiering duties, sanitation of the work station and maintains a professional and courteous manner with the customers.
    • Retrieves morning in classroom meal counts and enters in Infinite Campus.
    • Makes sure sheets are properly filled out and reports any discrepancies to Mary to get corrected.
    • Insures all counts were properly entered by checking daily transaction report
    • Set up the cashier area for daily customer service.
    • Lunch time, double checks that all meals students are bringing to POS are in compliance with reimbursable meal standards.
    • Acknowledge each customer by making eye contact as they move on the food line. Thank the customer after the transaction is made.
    • Keep the cash register area clean and neat at all times.
    • Follows and tracks students to allergy list to make sure students are not taking items that would cause a reaction.
    • Checks with Kirk for daily prepping tasks and cleaning duties.
    • Help set food items on trays in between lunch waves for incoming classes.
    • Attends all training classes.
    • Follows all company policies in accordance with Whitsons Handbook.
    • Performs all other duties as assigned.

    RequirementsRequired Qualifications and Competencies:

    • High school diploma, math and accounting skills 3 years cashiering experience preferred.
    • Ability to speak and read English in order to understand and perform job assignments.
    • Extensive physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting up to 40lbs, bending, pushing, and pulling.
    • Exposure to extreme temperatures (hot and cold) due to cooking and refrigeration equipment.
    • Always present a positive and professional image.
    • Basic English Reading and Writing Skills
    • Able to Pass Background Screening
