    Location Information


    Saint Therese offers a continuum of care and services available in a person's own home or in one of our four Twin Cities communities: New Hope, Brooklyn Park, Shoreview and Woodbury.

    Rooted in history, Saint Therese of New Hope is our largest community. This care center has 168 skilled nursing beds for long-term and transitional care.

    In addition, the Residence at Saint Therese of New Hope houses 225 independent apartments and suites for assisted living and memory care.

    Responsibilities

    Responsible for generating and managing the Nursing department staffing schedules. Processing changes in payroll status, medical/personal leaves. Assists in tracking attendance for the nursing department, and creation of documentation following policies and procedures. Provides additional administrative support to the Director of Nursing and Associate Director of Nursing.

    This position is full-time, Monday through Friday working 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. This position will participate in the Manager on Duty rotation and will be scheduled occasional weekend shifts.

    Qualifications

    Education:
    High-School diploma. Some post secondary education desired.

    Experience:

    Minimum two year previous staffing experience in healthcare field (preferably in a LTC setting), and related supervisory experience required.

    Payroll experience beneficial.


    Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
    Strong detail-orientation, organization and clerical skills.
    Proficiency in Microsoft-PC based and other software for work processing, spreadsheets, databases, graphics and scheduling.
    Must be able to read, write and speak effectively in English.

    Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to express ideas and information (both in written and oral form) clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to the audience, and uses appropriate lines of authority.

    Ability to deal with conflict in a positive manner. Has an awareness of, responds to, and considers the needs, feelings and capabilities of others.

    Ability to deal with frequent interruptions, high level of stress and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with minimum supervision.

    Ability to be accountable for quality customer service and respond appropriately to a variety of personalities and situations.
    Demonstrates ability to prioritize workload, using time effectively to achieve expected productivity and efficiency.
    Strong detail-orientation, organization and clerical skills.
