    Description

    POSITION DESCRIPTION

    Join our team as a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant and collaborate with experienced Physical Therapists in guiding patients towards recovery and strength building. As a valued team member, you will provide personalized care, monitor progress closely, and educate patients on effective exercises and stretches.


    Hours of Operation: Monday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm (30 min break), Tuesday to Thursday 7:30 am to 6:00 pm (30 min break), and Friday, 7:30 am to 12:00 pm.


    TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Assess motor function and muscle performance.
    • Collaborate with Physical Therapists to design treatment plans.
    • Observe patient progress and document reports.
    • Educate patients on exercises and therapies.
    • Assist in modifying treatment plans.
    • Support with reports and projects as needed.


    ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Contribute to creating physical therapy and aquatic treatment plans.
    • Assist in developing wellness plans tailored to patients' job requirements.
    • Participate in regular team meetings and huddles.


    EDUCATION & REQUIREMENTS:

    • Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
    • Active license in the State of Texas.
    • Commitment to maintaining required CE's annually.
    • Minimum 1 year of previous experience.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT

    Engage in direct patient care within a private office setting, with focus on up to three patients in a 90-minute session.


    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    Requires physical stamina for patient handling and prolonged standing during exercise demonstrations.


    POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

    Full-time position with work hours aligned with clinic schedule.


    TRAVEL

    Possible up to 20% travel required.
