    JOB TITLE: Sourcing Manager I

    LOCATION: Menlo Park, CA Onsite role (hybrid)

    DURATION: 6 months

    PAY RANGE: $45-$55/hr.

    Job Description: The main function of a Sourcing Manager is to support business stakeholders through the development of requirements, with the goal of communicating and negotiating with suppliers to achieve an optimal outcome.

    Responsibilities

    Establish appropriate sourcing strategy with relevant partners to drive business goals and strategy

    Effectively capture and articulate internal requirements to align with business needs

    Communicate proactively with vendors and manage supplier relationships to ensure alignment with our business objectives

    Negotiate contracts and costs with vendors to ensure optimal terms for ***

    Manage and guide business stakeholders through the *** Sourcing process, including but not limited to contracting and compliance related activities

    Review and provide redline recommendations to contracts based on *** requirements and *** standard positions

    Manage contracting activities and ensure contracts reflect appropriate business and Legal terms

    Work cross functionally with different teams, including Legal and Finance

    Skills

    Proven negotiation, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

    Customer service skills with experience working in a cross-functional team environment

    Possesses a high degree of integrity

    Ability to analyze and resolve variety of issues simultaneously

    Minimum of 1 year of experience in IT Strategic Sourcing (i.e. Software, Professional Services, Hardware, Support Services)

    Able to work with a high volume of transactions in a fast-paced environment

    Proficiency in G-suite, MS Word, Excel

    Education/Experience:

    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

    Looking for someone who takes initiative and is ready and capable to learn to use new tools
