    Job Description

    American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with experience in outpatient and inpatient settings and a current state license for a 13-week contract.

    Responsibilities
    Work primarily in an outpatient rehabilitation therapy setting with approximately 10% inpatient responsibilities
    Eight-hour shifts for a total of 32 hours per week
    Treats patients with a variety of conditions including post-accident, post-surgical, degenerative, or terminal disease recovery
    Collaborates with speech therapists and other healthcare providers for patient care
    Responsibilities include patient evaluation, individualized treatment planning, manual therapy, and exercise instruction
    Maintains detailed records of patient progress and collaborates with other providers on care plans
    Expected to attend in-services, staff meetings, and contribute to quality improvement processes
    Participates in team-based care, reporting patient status and supporting other staff
    No radius requirement for local candidates

    Requirements
    Master's degree from an accredited physical therapy program required
    Current Physical Therapist state license required if applicable
    Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
    Experience working directly with patients in a long term care or hospital setting required
    Strong documentation skills and excellent verbal communication required
    Ability to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served
