This position is assigned to the following counties:

RICHMOND

Job Description:
Under limited supervision, this position performs duties such as enforcing farmers' market rules and regulations:

Provide services to farmers, dealers, and the public in the sale of produce
Assisting in the maintenance, sanitation, and security at the Augusta State Farmers Market
Inspecting produce entering and selling at the Markets.
Will work in the shed area in all types of weather conditions monitoring shed tenants and enforcing market rules and regulations.
Will work in the office collecting gate fees, shed fees, and weighing trucks at the market scale.
Will assist field inspectors with the weekly drop off and pick up of samples.
Will work in the office answering the phone and assisting customers.
Will be documenting the weekly funds collected and depositing them.

Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary:

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

Working knowledge of Windows OS as well as Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word, Strong customer service skills.

Physical Demands:

Will require spending time outside in the elements in all seasons.
The employees will need to dress for the weather.
