    PolyPeptide is on an exciting growth journey, and we are strengthening our Global Technical Operations Team with the addition of a Director Global Operations Processes and Excellence, reporting directly to our Director Global Operations and part of the Global Technical Operations management team.

    ABOUT THE ROLE

    You will, as direct report to and on behalf of the Director Global Operations, enable the roll-out of the operations strategy via a governance and routine within the Global Technical Operations team and across the sites.

    You will manage the according governance, processes, and performance monitoring.

    You will play a key role in the preparation of strategy and management presentations and business cases, and act as project leader for specific transformation initiatives.

    You will support the Operations strategy definition and implementation across all sites, linked to the operational performance and excellence. This includes monitoring and supporting the according site strategies definition and execution with an operational focus.

    In addition, you will secure the implementation and follow-up on the operations processes, including a performance cockpit with targeted operational KPIs to ensure execution and progress of the operation's strategy.

    You will work closely with all manufacturing and development sites in the network (Sweden, Belgium, France, US, India), including your strong and regular personal presence and interaction, to ensure the roll-out and adoption of defined processes, systems and tools across the group.

    You will be involved in driving and supporting operational initiatives and projects across our sites, enabling and monitoring the execution of agreed actions, improvements, harmonization, adoption of processes and systems, and the according reporting and best practice sharing.


    YOUR PROFILE:


    University degree in engineering or other relevant technical sciences, chemistry, chemical engineering or equivalent, with 7+ years of experience in manufacturing management and operational excellence.

    Experience in contract manufacturing, in complex B-to-B manufacturing across multiple plants mandatory.

    Experience in pharmaceutical (including regulatory requirements and their impact on the supply chain), complex chemical or similar regulated environment a strong plus.

    Experience within a sizable manufacturing plant, with a track record in manufacturing management, operational excellence and continuous improvement (e.g. as plant / production manager). Experience on multi-site, regional, global level, alternatively in operations consulting, a strong plus.
    Proven track record in managing and executing operational processes, engineering and production process design, LEAN / Six Sigma programs, continuous improvement programs (e.g. with a Six Sigma black belt certification). Project management skills and project leadership experience of complex transformation projects.
    Familiar with the relevant IT systems and digitalization, automation trends.
    Strong analytical skills, with the ability to condense complex information in focused executive summaries, management recommendations, and strategy presentations.

    Acts with a high degree of customer focus, flexibility and hands-on approach, and as role model for PolyPeptide's values of innovation, excellence and trust.

    Strong interpersonal, communication, training, and presentation skills with the ability to influence others, collaborate cross-functionally and across different geographies for optimal outcomes for the group.

    Able to work in an international environment and deal with cultural differences, and to collaborate with colleagues spread on different sites.

    Able to travel according to the requirements of the global role.

    Fluent in English, French an advantage, Swedish/Danish a plus as the role is located at the Swedish site in Malmö.
