ResponsibilitiesGlobal and area team collaboration
Brand and Marketing asset execution
Creates print ready packaging, merchandising, and additional graphics in line with Global direction
Coordinates with Project Managers, Lead Designer, and Marketing to ensure timely execution of the packaging cycle plan
Understand, embrace, and execute brand treatment, priority initiatives and communication with emphasis in providing support from development to execution with heavy focus on creative package design, merchandising, and e-commerce extensions.
Responsible for timely and precise creation and driving packaging designs from concept through final delivery of print ready files based on supplied specifications for several types of print productionCreate print-ready production files using templates to maintain consistency across projects
Responsible for the execution of brand and product assets as assigned
Brand and product assets include but are not limited to: packaging designs for new product launches from existing mechanicals and files, mockups and samples, templates, claim/product updates, research concepts, guidelines, color standards, new or updating packaging identity, key visuals, display graphics, brand identity development, e-commerce support assets.
Organizing assets, shepherding/traffic to stakeholders, executing asset deploymentReview files prior to releasing/delivering to ensure adherence to established standards of the EHI
Interact with vendor art departments and printers
Collaborate and work closely with other design specialists including but not limited to: industrial designers, illustrators, retouchers, photographers, etc.
May also perform additional duties as assigned
What we are looking for
4-year degree required in Visual Design, Graphic Design, Packaging Design or other related degree or equivalent combination of experience and instruction.
Minimum 3 years' experience in packaging graphic design with an emphasis on CPG.Demonstrate expertise in design fundamentals, including typography, layout, and color theory.
High fluency and in depth knowledge of Adobe CS (Illustrator & Photoshop a MUST).
Understanding of die line creation, layout, typography, color palettes and processes.
Knowledge of printing processes and technologies and how it affects different substrate materials.
Creative concept skills, category/product research, brainstorming.
Able to work with little supervision.
Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to successfully deliver on brand.
Attention to detail, organization, and great follow-up skills.
Team player that strives to maximize team and department performance.
Basic 3D software knowledge (Adobe Stager preferred)
Strong retouching skills a plus
Experience with a Digital Asset Management system
Experience with a Project Management system
