    Role Summary

    We are a leading multinational corporation committed to excellence and innovation across our operations in North America, including Canada and the United States. Our Human Resources team plays a pivotal role in driving the success of our business by ensuring we attract, develop, and retain top talent. We are currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee HR Operations and serve as a strategic business partner to our Operations team in North America.

    What you will do

    • Strategic Business Partnership: Act as a strategic HR business partner to the Operations leadership team in North America, aligning HR strategies with business objectives to drive growth and operational excellence.
    • HR Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of HR operations across North America, including but not limited to talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, and training and development.
    • Talent Management: Lead talent management initiatives to identify, develop, and retain high-potential employees. Implement effective succession planning processes across key roles within the Operations division.
    • Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure compliance with federal, state/provincial, and local employment laws and regulations in both Canada and the United States. Stay abreast of HR best practices and trends to drive continuous improvement.
    • Diversity and Inclusion: Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives, fostering an inclusive culture that values diversity of thought, background, and experience.
    • Employee Engagement: Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction. Address employee relations issues promptly and effectively, maintaining a positive work environment.
    • Change Management: Lead change management efforts related to HR initiatives, supporting the Operations team through transitions and organizational changes.

    Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing HR and operational challenges.

    What you bring to the role

    Essential:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Professional HR certification required (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, CHRP, CHRL).
    • Minimum of 7 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role overseeing HR operations in a multinational corporation.
    • Multi-site experience (7 or more sites)
    • 5+ years experience in a manufacturing facility
    • Proven experience as an HR business partner to senior leadership, ideally within the Operations function.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws and HR practices in both Canada and the United States.
    • Experience with HR information systems and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

    Desirable:

    • A Masters Degree preferred
