    Description

    IT Support Technician Position

    The IT Support Technician plays a crucial role in handling all IT issues at the user level, ensuring smooth operation of systems, and providing technical support. This position involves installing and maintaining hardware and software organization-wide, as well as interacting with colleagues from different departments.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Deliver exceptional customer service to end users
    • Manage ticket queue efficiently
    • Collect relevant details for IT requests
    • Adhere to SLA requirements
    • Offer technical assistance for computer systems, software, and hardware problems
    • Monitor and maintain computer system performance
    • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues
    • Diagnose and fix LAN, WAN, and other system problems
    • Set up computer peripherals for users
    • Evaluate new software and hardware
    • Handle technical documentation
    • Develop and update training materials
    • Coordinate services with third-party vendors
    • Monitor software resources such as Anti-Virus and Backups
    • Enhance systems and procedures across the organization

    Education and Experience Requirements:

    • High school diploma is necessary
    • Preferably College or Technical training
    • Minimum one year of technical experience or equivalent training
    • Prior background in Customer Service
    • Excellent verbal and written communication
    • Strong interpersonal and multitasking skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

    Language Skills:

    Proficiency in English

    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

    No mandatory certifications but technical qualifications are beneficial.

    Physical Requirements:

    Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
