    We are a growing business seeking a Shop Technician to assist with a broad range of duties. Individual should be a dependable self-starter.

    Impact Automation is a fast-growing company which supplies conveyors and industrial equipment to the E-Commerce market. Candidates must have technical skills and will be expected to contribute right away.

    Responsibilities

    · Must be mechanically inclined to read drawings and use hand tools to perform assembly work

    · Experienced in metal fabrication equipment, including saws, grinders, cutting equipment, bending & forming equipment, etc.

    · Shipping/Receiving - Receive shipments, inspect for and report damages, perform counts. Ship materials by picking, packing, kitting, and loading.

    · Complete deliveries and general errands by driving company truck or van to and from vendors. Good driving record is a must.

    · Must be experienced in the safe operation of a fork truck

    · Must be able to lift 70lbs and occasionally push/pull 150lbs

    · Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping warehouse area clean and organized

    · Able to communicate issues, recommend improvements, and follow best practices

    · Contributes to the overall team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed

    Education and Licensing Requirements

    · High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

    · Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record

    Physical Requirements

    · Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding

    · Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time

    All candidates must be able to climb ladders and lift 50 lb boxes. Must pass background check and drug screening. Upon hire, you will be required to provide documentation demonstrating the right to work in the United States. We are subject to the E-Verify program.
