    American Leadership Academy is now accepting applications for Title I Behavior Interventionist at our Anthem South Jr. High and High School for the academic school year. Candidates must posses a valid AZ IVP fingerprint clearance card and at least a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or content area.

    The Title I Behavior Interventionist assesses the challenges students face in the school setting and daily life giving them positive behavior support. The behavior interventionist will utilize past behavior reports, observations, interviews with staff members and the child's support system to develop an appropriate intervention plan that address students' inappropriate behaviors and provide a means to help the student become more academically successful. Goals will be set for behavioral changes on a short and long-term basis. Students that present an immediate danger or threat will be referred to the Campus Director following ALA policies and procedures.

    Minimum Qualifications

  • CPR, First Aid trained
  • CPI Trained
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • CPI Trainer
  • Valid AZ Special Education Teaching Certificate
  • 3-5 years experience working as a behavior interventionist
  • BCBA certification
