Position Summary:
The HRIS Specialist serves as the technical point of contact and HRIS system subject matter expert (SME) to maintain HRIS security, develop business intelligence (BI) reports, maintain and support system configuration and integrations, test system changes, and ensure data integrity.
Job Duties & Essential Functions:
Support system releases, enhancements, projects, testing, and other technical projects as assigned.
As HRIS Technical SME, provide technical support and ongoing maintenance for HRIS systems including, but not limited to, configuration, security, and file/data transfers.
Serve as Technical Point of Contact for designated HRIS products.Assist SMEs with maintaining data integrity, report writing, and testing of configuration changes.
Research, troubleshoot, and resolve system, integration, and interface issues and unexpected results.
Build, test, recommend, and implement changes in collaboration with Human Resources, Payroll, IT, etc.
Work with SMEs to produce and review audit reports to confirm accuracy and integrity of all data.
Analyze reporting needs and develop Business Intelligence reports within UKG for internal customers including dashboards.
Participate in HRIS-related projects to streamline and improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Communicate system changes to other areas within HR/Payroll.
Manage permissions, access, personalization, and settings for users.
Manage HR data, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
Develop and maintain system processes, procedures, guidelines, and documentation.
Create training modules for leaders and employees on HRIS functionality.
Ensure HRIS compliance with relevant laws and regulations and complete Federal and State mandate reporting requirements within the required deadlines.
Perform additional duties as assigned.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
3 years of related HRIS experience
Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Preferred Qualifications:
UKG experience highly preferred
Experience working with Multi-state state laws/regulations
Professional certification, e.g., PHR or SHRM-CP
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm
Hybrid (2 days remote, 3 days in office)
Salary Range:
$75,000 - $85,000/Annually to commensurate with experience
