    **Description**

    **JOB SUMMARY:**

    Candidate will support Textron Aviation customers providing technical guidance to customers and service facility personnel relative to aircraft structural issues. Will coordinate with Structures Engineering to develop, certify and support the incorporation of structural repairs in all Textron Aviation models.

    **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:**

    Coordinate portions of the structural repair process through gathering of aircraft damage/condition information, communicating repair needs with engineering, providing status updates to the customer, and handling of accounting and billing actions.

    Develop letters to support field operations concerning ferry flights, flight extensions, minor repairs, and other related structural issues.

    Provide basic technical structural guidance to customers using published documents, engineering drawings, and manufacturing specifications.

    Identify structural related design and manufacturing improvement opportunities and provide constructive feedback to the appropriate department(s).

    Monitor structural repair trends to identify opportunities to develop standard repairs.

    Conduct on-site damage evaluations for severely damaged aircraft in the field.

    **Qualifications**

    **EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:**

    Preferred Structural Repair/Sheet Metal experience

    + Bachelors degree required, or in lieu of degree one of these two:

    + 3 years of relative aircraft maintenance experience + A&P license required.

    + 3 years of relative aircraft maintenance experience + 2 year technical degree required

    Preferred experience in aircraft structural repair, customer support, or relative aircraft maintenance experience

    Minimum 2 years of aircraft structural repair, customer support, or relative aircraft maintenance experience required
