Job summary
The Revenue Integrity Analyst will oversee all aspects of revenue integrity for assigned institutes cost centers and/or departments including charge reconciliation process working charging related claim edits in various Work Queues oversight of EPIC Charge Review Work Queues assigned to clinical areas works with the PB HB Denials teams to review correct denials edits related to charging medical necessity coordinates PB HB medical necessity denials educational calls works with institute department staff Billing Coding Revenue Cycle Analysts Claims Review Nurses Clinical Documentation Improvement UM/UR team CDM Analysts other relevant staff on correcting coding ambiguous documentation incorrect charging practices performs charge capture auditing compliance in accordance with Revenue Integrity goals initiates CDM requests departmental education based on audit findings performs root cause analysis relative to charging issues identified by charge edits claim edits denials internal external audits reports findings initiates CDM request process prepares request form forwards to appropriate CDM Analyst assists CDM analysts annual HCPCS change update processes when changes do not pertain charges originating Willow Supply Chain systems monitors Craneware requests obtains needed information completes requests acts Charging Subject Matter Expert assigned institutes cost centers departments develops impact modeling related change requests remains current CMS OIG AMA AHA NJ Medicaid Commercial Payer regulations guidelines reviews compiles analyzes data develop recommendations leading potential revenue cycle opportunities communicates trends accuracy root causes compliance financial risk revises implements evaluates evaluates monitoring results prepares regular educational their institutes cost centers departments examines processes improve workflow conducts leads special projects facilitate revenue management new facilities acquisitions new service lines regulatory changes complies Cooper University Healthcare Policies Procedures makes frequent adjustments priorities manages multiple concurrent activities learns computer application skills role maintains positive professional demeanor establishes effective working relationships patients employees public responds customer concerns timely accepts responsibility own work assists coworkers duties assigned participates inservices functions effectively manages levels management.
