DIRECTOR OF RISK MANAGEMENT AND SAFETYThe Director of Safety and Risk Management will have the authority and responsibility to develop, implement and monitor the hospital's Patient Safety Plan.

He/she will administer, manage and coordinate the activities of the Hospital Risk Management Program.

QUALIFICATIONSFlorida Licensed Healthcare Risk Manager requiredPatient Safety Management and Risk Management experience and/or related experienceAgency for Healthcare Association (AHCA) guidelines for reporting and inspection due to Risk Management (Code 15) or facilities issues.

Knowledge of Joint Commission Standards relating to patient safety and identification of Sentinel EventsReport writingData interpretation skillsBasic computer operation; word processing & spread sheetsEffective communication skillsKnowledge of risk avoidance & risk control techniquesCONTACT:
