    LabCorp is in search of a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join their Specimen Processing and Accessioning team in Seattle, WA. The Specimen Accessioner will be in charge of conducting clinical specimen accessioning, sorting samples, and entering data in a fast-paced, high-throughput setting following established procedures.

    Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8pm-4:30am

    Work Location: Seattle, WA

    Pay Range: $20.07 - $28.52

    Benefits: All job offers will be determined based on a candidate's skills, relevant experience, and the terms of the bargaining agreement between Dynacare Northwest, Inc. and United Food and Commercial Workers Union, Local 21. Full-time or part-time employees working 24 hours or more per week qualify for comprehensive benefits such as Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(K), up to 18 days of Annual Leave per year (including 8 holidays), and Sick Leave (0.0333 hours per hour worked).

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Prepare laboratory specimens for testing
    • Unpack and route specimens to appropriate staging areas
    • Accurately label specimens
    • Pack and ship specimens to correct testing facilities
    • Meet department activity and production targets
    • Properly store excess specimen samples
    • Enter patient information accurately and promptly
    • Address and document any specimen-related issues

    Requirements:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • No direct experience needed; 1-2 years preferred
    • Previous involvement in medical or production settings is advantageous
    • Comfortable working with biological specimens
    • Apt at identifying specimens accurately
    • Experience in collaborative environments
    • Strong data entry and organizational abilities
    • High attention to detail
    • Proficiency in MS Office
    • Able to lift up to 40lbs
    • Pass a standardized color blind test
    • Willingness to work weekends when required
