    Summary:

    Assist Escrow Team by handling all processes required for receipting and tracking earnest money deposits along with disbursing and funding all transactions. The Escrow Assistant- Funder is a critical player that works with other team members to build a support line that ensures customer service satisfaction for TitleOne.

    **Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.**

    + Provides support to the Escrow Team by performing such duties as depositing, tracking and corresponding with customers regarding earnest money checks. Editing checks, balancing files, printing checks, shipping and uploading loan packages, sending and posting wires and depositing checks. In smaller operations, this position may also lead to dual positions such as receptionist or customer service.

    + Develops and executes a system for clerical duties and file coordination that appeal to the Team.

    + Responsible for all processes required for depositing and tracking earnest money checks. Disbursing and funding all transactions.

    + Comply with TitleOne Corporation escrow trust accounting standards outlined in the process and procedure manual.

    **Oversees personally or through team players the following functions:**

    + Ensures all earnest money checks are deposited into files in timely manner

    + Provided earnest money receipts to customers according to service level expectations

    + Ensures that pre-closing curative matters have been handled by the Escrow Team

    + File is disbursed following our trust accounting standards

    + Final documentation is uploaded in the files and sent to all appropriate parties

    + Coordinate with deliveries, exchanges and deposits are handled in a timely manner

    + Telephone and email contact with relators, lenders, buyer and sellers. Answer inquiries regarding status of funding and notify parties when funding is completed

    + Back-up front desk person on telephone

    + Back-up shipper

    + Review trial balance and outstanding check reports

    + Assist with recording files

    **Qualifications/Experience:**

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.     + Minimum one-year escrow/ closing experience

    + Complete knowledge and understanding of real estate contract

    + Excellent telephone and email etiquette

    + Excellent customer relations and interpersonal skills

    + Good verbal and written communication skills.

    + Excellent organizational skills, details and deadline oriented, problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure

    + Computer skills including Windows, Microsoft, and paperless production software.

    + Copier. E-mail and 10 key calculator skills

    + Working knowledge of closing statements/ disclosures, lender requirements and commitment for title insurance

The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 25 pounds. The vision requirements include close vision.
