    Overview The Army's Tactical Exploitation of National Capabilities (TENCAP) mission is to enable the Army to rapidly exploit and influence National capabilities and architectures
    Army TENCAP conducts advanced development and rapid prototyping to enhance, inform, and modernize Army capabilities
    Army Product Manager TENCAP responsibilities include support to Headquarters Department of the Army (HQDA) to maintain connections to national and theater systems; prototype development and transition of technology into Army systems; and acquisition of equipment as directed by the TENCAP General Officer Steering Group (TGOSG) and Assistant Secretary of the Army (Acquisition, Logistics & Technology) (ASA(ALT))
    Responsibilities


    • Develop and execute Systems Engineering processes within TENCAP including: prepare decision justification materials; prepare design studies to identify and address program/project capability gaps; prepare analysis of alternatives and recommendations for decision; prepare study results for presentation to leadership; develop and manage requirement baselines; address configuration and change management; prepare, present and evaluate technical reviews; execute risk, issue and opportunity management; coordinate with test and evaluation staff for execution of requirements verification and validation.
    • Provide technical input to Simplified Acquisition Management Plans (SAMPs) to address the program's overall acquisition approach, including systems engineering and risk management approaches for TENCAP projects
    Required Experience/Qualifications

    Education:
    Master's Degree - 12 years' work experience may be substituted for a master's degree or bachelor's degree plus 8 years work
    Degree shall be in an engineering, engineering science, physical science, or mathematical science discipline.

    • Experience: Shall have a minimum of fifteen years of progressively complex experience in the design, development, integration, and testing of DoD or IC intelligence systems.
    • Experience: Include a minimum of eight years in a systems engineering position working on DoD programs/projects.
    • Experience: Include a minimum of five years in a systems engineering management position leading a technical team working on DoD or IC programs/projects.
    • Certifications: Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) or Licensed Professional Engineer Preferred Experience/Qualifications
    • Has the communication skills to effectively interface with senior military officials, managers, and subordinates.
    • Has TENCAP experience
    Special Requirements/Security Clearance

    Security Clearance:
    Top Secret with Secret Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility.
