Line Cook – Brew Brothers (Tropicana Laughlin)

We're looking for a reliable, energetic Line Cook to help prepare the fresh, flavorful dishes that Carnegies Café is known for. This is a hands‑on role in a fast‑paced kitchen where teamwork, consistency, and attention to detail make all the difference.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and portion standards
• Work multiple stations including grill, sauté, fry, pantry, and prep
• Maintain a clean and sanitized workstation in compliance with SNHD and company standards
• Assist with daily prep, restocking, and proper food storage
• Follow food safety procedures including labeling, rotation, and temperature control
• Support opening and closing duties including equipment setup and breakdown
• Communicate clearly with chefs and teammates to ensure smooth service
• Deliver Family‑Style Service in every interaction with guests and team members

Skills & Experience

• 3–6 months of kitchen experience in a restaurant, hotel, or casino preferred
• Ability to follow recipes and cooking sequences
• Comfort using kitchen tools such as knives, fryers, grills, and ovens
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to work in a high‑heat, fast‑paced environment

Requirements

• Valid SNHD Health Card
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods
• Basic math skills for measurements and portioning
• Fluent in English for effective communication
• Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays
