Job Overview:

The Residential Driver/ASL Driver operates heavy-duty trucks and is responsible for the collection of residential household waste or recyclable material. The driver will transport the material to a disposal, transfer, or recycling facility when trucks reach legal load capacity.

• Operates vehicles by City Carting Safety and Life Critical Rules, Occupational and Safety Health Act (OSHA), Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements, as well as all local, state, and federal laws.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role you will be required to perform pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle and document checks utilizing the standards Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR). Additionally you are expected to attend scheduled training programs briefings meetings.
