    Description
    We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Infrastructure Operations team.

    As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing infrastructure deployment projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic business objectives.

    You will play a key role in managing complex projects, including data center acquisitions, private cloud deployments, and the implementation of high-performance computing (HPC) and AI-specific hardware.

    In addition to managing infrastructure projects, the Technical Project Manager will initially take on the responsibility for capacity planning and management, ensuring the optimal use of resources to meet current and future infrastructure demands.

    This role will oversee strategic capacity planning until dedicated resources for capacity management are onboarded.
    You must be a builder, handle ambiguity well, and be ready to handle scale. As one of the first hires in this department, you will be a trailblazer for Ori.

    The right person for this role will be obsessed with building and documenting processes, extremely detail-oriented, highly technical, and able to handle large-scale AI centric deployments end-to-end at a rapid pace with precision.


    About the Infrastructure Operations Team:
    The Infrastructure Operations Team provides critical infrastructure operations as a service to the broader technology organization. Its mission is to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient infrastructure solutions tailored to the organization's specific needs. The team manages everything from data center acquisitions to cloud deployments, ensuring optimal performance for high-demand computing environments.

    Key Responsibilities of the Infrastructure Operations Team:
    – Data Center Acquisition and Management: Secure and manage data center spaces in partnership with vendors.

    – Private Cloud Deployments:
    Tailored private cloud solutions optimized for HPC and AI workloads.

    – Hardware Installation and Maintenance:
    Physical installation and maintenance of specialized hardware.

    – Network Configuration and Support:
    Robust network infrastructure supporting high data throughput and low latency.
    – Capacity Planning and

    Resource Allocation:
    Strategic planning of infrastructure capacity to meet current and future demands.

    – Project Management:
    Oversight of infrastructure deployment projects from initiation to delivery.

    Key Responsibilities of the Project Manager
    Project Planning and Execution
    – Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and team members.
    – Create detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk management.
    – Lead project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and budget.
    Stakeholder Management
    – Work closely with internal teams, including Cloud Deployment Engineers, Hardware Technicians, and Network Engineers, to ensure project requirements are clearly understood and met.
    – Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to provide project updates, address concerns, and gather feedback.
    – Foster strong relationships with vendors and external partners to support project execution.
    Risk Management
    – Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
    – Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to manage changes, risks, and issues.
    Resource Coordination
    – Coordinate resources across multiple projects, ensuring optimal use of skills and expertise within the team.
    – Collaborate with the Capacity Planner to ensure appropriate resource allocation and infrastructure capacity.
    Reporting and Documentation
    – Prepare regular project status reports, highlighting achievements, risks, and upcoming milestones.
    – Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, risk logs, and deliverables.
    Continuous Improvement
    – Identify opportunities to improve project management processes and methodologies within the team.
    – Lead post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and incorporate them into future projects.

    About the Infrastructure Operations Team:
    Education and Certification
    –Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
    –PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile project management certification preferred.
    Experience
    –Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in IT infrastructure or data center deployments.
    –Demonstrated experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and dependencies.
    –Must have experience with HPC and AI centric infrastructure deployments.
    Technical Knowledge
    –Understanding of data center technologies, private cloud deployments, and high-performance computing (HPC) infrastructure.
    –Familiarity with network, storage, and hardware infrastructure.
    –Familiarity with NVIDIA reference architectures and deployment patterns is highly desirable.
    Skills
    –Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of influencing and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
    –Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira.
    – Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
