    About Chelsea Piers and the Opportunity:

    At Chelsea Piers you will find colleagues who are passionate about what we do. Chelsea Piers Camps in Manhattan and Brooklyn offer engaging and challenging sports summer camps programs for children aged preschool and up in our state-of-the-art athletic facilities.

    Chelsea Piers is seeking to hire a Summer Camp Onsite EMT to work from June 14 - August 30, Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm. There are positions available in both Chelsea, Manhattan and Prospect Heights, Brooklyn. The Summer Camp Onsite EMT is vital to the success of our camps and are dedicated to providing campers with a clean, safe, friendly, and fun environment to ensure a well-rounded sports education and camp experience.

    As a Summer Camp EMT, you will be expected to:
    • Care for sick or injured campers
    • Provide first aid for minor injuries and illnesses
    • Sort and dispense medications to campers
    • Respond to any emergency that may arise
    • Set up and stock the EMT office
    • Collect and organize all camper medical forms
    • Maintain updated health logs and incident reports
    • Ensure immunizations on file are up to date
    • Always maintain communication with camps and directors
    Qualifications

    About You:
    You are a certified EMT and are punctual, friendly, and motivated. You also:
    • Enjoy working with children and in a team environment
    • Have good verbal communication skills
    • Have excellent customer service skills
    • Have a neat and tidy appearance
    • Have the ability to be flexible and remain calm and alert in stressful situations while remaining positive and energetic
