    We're expanding our team and seeking a full-time Tax Software Consultant to join us.

    In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in delivering implementation and best practice consulting services across our entire suite of Corptax products to our clients.

    As a Tax Software Consultant, you'll collaborate with Lead Engagement Managers (LEMs) to grasp clients' unique business needs and deliver tailored solutions to address them effectively.

    Your responsibilities will include developing and executing engagement work plans, ensuring client requirements are met, and undertaking additional tasks assigned by the LEM to ensure project success.

    Your primary focus will be on implementing specific Corptax products, particularly within the provision and compliance lines, while also exploring opportunities to enhance product implementations across our suite of offerings.

    We're looking for a full-time tax software consultant to join our growing team.

    The tax software consultant will help in providing implementation and best practice consulting services around the entire suite of Corptax products to our clients.

    This new team member will be responsible for working with lead engagement managers (LEMs) on understanding clients' business needs and providing and implementing the most appropriate solutions to address those needs.

    This individual will also develop and complete engagement work plan tasks, ensuring clients' needs are being addressed, and performing other tasks as assigned by the LEM to ensure the project's success.

    The Software Product Consultant will be primarily responsible for fulfilling the tasks associated with specific Corptax product implementations and looking at ways to streamline product implementations.

    The focus of the implementations will be around the Corptax provision and compliance product lines and assisting with other Corptax offerings.


    Some of the things you will be doing:

    Performing assigned basic implementation functions associated with an engagementUnderstanding and documenting clients' business requirementsData gathering, manipulation, analysisKeeping and publishing meeting notes and ensuring clients' business needs are being metPerforming assigned Corptax setup tasks: profiles, report folders, data mapping, database populationExecuting assigned project tasks in an efficient and effective mannerProviding the LEM with support on project management tasks as directed and appropriateCommunicating with LEM regarding the time allotted for assigned tasks to ensure efficient completion (i.e., on time and budget)Reviewing each engagement and identifying means of streamlining project implementations, standardizing engagements, and ensuring appropriate resources are being applied to each engagementCreating process documentation for each engagement and suggesting and implementing process changes as appropriate to meet the client's needsProviding loan staff services to clients including tax return preparation and provision supportWhat technical skills, experience and qualifications do you need?Bachelor's degree in an accounting, business, or computer science field (tax experience or Master's in tax is a plus)Minimum of one to three years of work experience in an accounting or tax functionCorptax or other tax software experienceExcellent oral and written communication skillsClient-facing experienceProject management skills as demonstrated by education or work experienceDemonstrated experience in business process improvement projectsDemonstrated experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office solutionsFamiliarity with third-party analysis tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx, etc.)Strong emphasis on the ability to listen to client requirements and understand their business issuesDemonstrated experience and aptitude with learning and implementing software solutions (accounting, tax, ERP, etc.)Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced multitasking environment with minimal supervisionFlexible for some (5-10%) national travel#LI-AM1#INDPABOUT USCSC is a global business, legal, and financial services company based in Wilmington, Delaware, USA, providing knowledge-based solutions to clients worldwide.
