    Senior Business Intelligence Analyst Job


    The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst is a key player in the PACCAR Parts division, providing valuable insights from data analysis and creating impactful business intelligence content.

    This position is part of the collaborative PPD Advanced Analytics team, which includes Data Engineers and Data Scientists that work closely with Senior Executives, Directors, and Managers, to shape the current and future business of PACCAR Parts.

    This role offers the opportunity to leverage cutting-edge technology, drive informed decision-making, and to be apart of a highly skilled team of data professionals.

    Job Functions / Responsibilities


    • Develop BI content in Tableau, Salesforce, Snowflake for high-impact projects.
    • Write ELT processes in data lake for BI projects.
    • Support users with access, training, and data questions.
    • Research new training materials and supplies for enhanced procedures.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to improve PACCAR's BI platforms.
    • Report progress and performance, transition dashboards to new technology.
    • Analyze metrics, provide recommendations for improvement based on data.
    • Track and report usage and key metrics.
    Qualifications


    • Bachelor's degree in CS, Applied Math, MIS, or related field.
    • 2+ Years experience in an analyst or related position.
    • Proficient in SQL.
    • Passionate about data quality, governance, and visualization best practices.
    • Experienced in Tableau, developing interactive dashboards.
    • Experienced in Salesforce, developing interactive dashboards.
    • Knowledgeable in relational database management systems.
    • Highly motivated, self-directed learner with attention to detail.
    • Strong analytical skills, excellent business acumen, clear communication.
    • Balances pragmatism and scientific rigor for dynamic business needs.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
    Preferred Qualifications


    • MBA or Master's degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, MIS or related field; or professional certifications such as CFA, CBIP, or MSCE in Business Intelligence.
    • Experience with Snowflake
    • Experience with Python or R
    • Familiarity with cloud storage and compute on AWS
    • Experience in Agile delivery

    Salary Range:
    At PACCAR, we value talent and promote growth and development. We carefully consider numerous compensation factors including your education, training, or experience. The salary range for this position is $72,200 - $108,000 annually. This position is eligible for a holiday gift and may offer relocation assistance benefits. Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
