Job summary

The Executive Director of Finance and Revenue manages general accounting functions relating to revenue & reimbursement, internal and external reporting for HCI and Hospitals.

Coordinate management of general accounting functions financial reporting in accordance with GAAP.

Maintain data accuracy integrity for all assigned entities hospitals HCI.
Promote cooperation develop lines communication persons inside outside healthcare system.
Select hire professional staff provide training evaluate initiate personnel activities
Evaluate procedures ensure department operating efficiently effectively.
Work conjunction outside auditing firm affiliates ensure successful year-end audit
Maintain accounting CHICO financial results Consolidated Financial statements
Participate oversee preparation cost reports regulatory reporting intermediary reviews audits entity level Conduct net patient service revenue accounting monthly preparation balance sheets income statement models reserves deduction entries entity level Develop maintain appropriate reporting such models Maintain competency reimbursement keeping knowledge current developments state federal level continuing education interpret estimate projected financial impact changes regulations net patient service revenue Coordinate appropriate departments complete revenue related requests support annual external audit Maintain comprehensive policies procedures documentation validate existence accurate all revenue related estimations Coordinate appropriate Finance Operational departments prepare net revenue budget entities Performs assists profitability studies rate optimization strategic pricing volume cost projections feasibility trend analysis other reimbursement reporting analyses Function financial services management consultant senior management department heads supervisors plan implement maintain financial systems functional areas responsibility Develop departmental policies procedures facilitate internal operations reconcile various receivables reserves accounts general ledger Prepares reconciliations schedules materials auditors Prepares monthly accounts receivable calculations Prepares revenue projections annual budget develops statement projections year needed Displays good leadership decision problem-solving ability strong organizational interpersonal communication skills computer skills Serve hospital committees task forces directed Keep informed latest development healthcare field study reading meetings workshops seminars Perform duties assigned requested
