Patient Observer - Mountain View

Job summary
The Patient Observer is responsible for providing constant patient observation under the direction of a registered nurse (RN). Observation may include more than one patient.The Patient Observer must be able to clearly see all patients for whom he/she is responsible at all times or conduct safety checks on patients under the direction of the RN when assigned to the Behavioral Health unit. The Patient Observer must uphold established ECH customer service standards at all times.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare OR ADN nursing student with successful completion of medical/surgical practicum OR EMT certification, OR Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT)
- Previous experience in a patient care setting preferred
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology
- Excellent verbal, interactive and listening skills/li>
