Job Description

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for 150 unit condominium community in South Fort Myers Experience in carpentry. Some plumbing, painting, and light electrical . Pool and irrigation experience a plus. Criminal background check required. Top benefits included.

Job Overview:

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of this beautiful facilities. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical knowledge and the ability to work independently. The goal is to uphold the building and common areas in the best possible condition.

Duties:

Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repairs

Conduct inspections of equipment and systems to identify any issues or potential problems

Respond promptly to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks based on urgency

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications:

Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance

Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions

Customer service-oriented mindset with good communication skills

Fluent in English (both written and verbal)

Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed during season

Responsibilities:

Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion
Estimate time and extent of repairs
Perform routine preventive maintenance
Maintain material and supply inventory
Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary

Qualifications:

Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields
Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
Ability to handle physical workload
Deadline and detail-oriented
