    Caretaker Position at Stearns County's Quarry Park

    The position involves maintaining and improving Quarry Park and Nature Preserve by informing visitors of park rules cleaning park facilities monitoring park trails grounds ensuring the park is safe reporting emergencies responding to incidents assisting with educational programs events guiding emergency responders accident locations communicating effectively working independently minimal supervision enforcing rules in a public setting being proactive proactive approach resolving issues responding requests interacting volunteers staff other agencies completing required reports attending work regularly timely manner performing duties assigned apparent job requirements accountabilities shared employees consistently perform responsibilities positive attitude manner consistent counties mission values develop respectful collaborative professional relationship county employees public served value respect diversity brings organization develops maintains knowledge understanding department wide policies protocols procedures apply performance this position comply all rules policies maintain safe work environment participate conservation management outdoors apply skills abilities contribute team community benefiting residents visitors.
