Provide support for various departments' applications running on WebSphere and IBM WebSphere MQResponsible for the installation, maintenance, support, and configuration of hardware and softwareResponsible for application deploymentsMaintain and update infrastructure documentationComplete implementation of security policies and filters associated with the toolsProvide additional troubleshooting supportQualifications/
Required Skills:
Experience with installation, maintenance, administration and monitoring of the WebSphere Software in a multi-platform environment (Linux and Windows) (5)Ability to provide proactive resolution of problems and/or alerts received by various monitoring and management systems.
Ability to provide resolution of connectivity problems, assisting users, and debugging problems.Hands-on technical experience in support of software tools such as WebSphere Application Server.
Experience with a broad range of technical skills in support of all WebSphere customers.
Training and/or experience with scripting tools such as Bash, Korn, and Jython.
Knowledge of change management best practices in a complex hosting environment.
