    Under the general direction of the Federal/State and Special Audit Section (FSSAS) Audit Manager, you are responsible for supervising a team of various levels of staff producing quality audits of Personal Income Tax (PIT) and/or Business Entity (BE) returns and responding to protests and correspondence.

    You are responsible for planning and directing the various workloads assigned to your team while continuously looking for ways to streamline processes and improve the customer's experience.

    You are responsible for working collaboratively with your peers and management to foster a positive work environment. You are responsible to evaluate the need to shift resources between workloads to ensure operational goals are met. You may serve on a variety of enterprise teams representing the section, bureau, division, or the department.

    Working Conditions

    This position is eligible for remote-working within California based on departmental guidelines and operational need.

    FTB has a minimum in-office requirement of two days per week for all positions including those that are eligible for telework.
