    WHAT YOU'LL DO


    The Commercial Excellence Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the go to market strategy through optimizing commercial processes within BCG X for the NAMR region. They are responsible for analyzing investment and sales data, providing insights and reporting to key stakeholders, and supporting strategies to improve performance and efficiency.

    Key Responsibilities will include:
    • Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting investment data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. Regularly reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) related to investment activities to increase accountability and with the goal of improving ROI across the portfolio to inform future investment strategy across the region.
    • Mitigating commercial and financial risk through partnering with our internal cross functional risk review process and team and owning reporting of key metrics to stakeholders.
    • Owning the continuous education program (content, scheduling, guest speakers) for the internal cross functional risk group.
    • Supporting the development of IP around commercial best practices for Managing Director & Partners (MDPs) and client-facing Commercial Directors (CDs) to use in deals and negotiations.
    • Partnering with the Commercial Excellence Senior Manager on ad-hoc strategic projects across the region.
    Impact
    • Partners with BCG X Regional Leads to produce accurate metrics to help drive informed commercial decisions, regional investment and risk strategy and recommendations to BCG X Operating Committee
    • Collaborates with regional client teams and global revenue management to document, standardize, and digitize processes
    • Partners with broader Risk organization to balance commercial opportunity with risk profiles. Ensures appropriate risk mitigations are recommended, documented and distributed to relevant parties

    YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

    • Bachelor's Degree (economics or finance concentration preferred)
    • 2-5 years of experience in a financial or commercial role (professional services or technology industry a plus)
    • Skilled in MS office applications – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint (PowerBI a plus)
    • Superior oral and written communication skills
    • Flexible and adaptable to rapidly changing priorities and ability to stay focused; excellent time management skills
    • High level of confidentiality and discretion in handling of personal and client sensitive data
    • Strong attention to detail, flexibility, and a positive "team player" attitude
