CES/AWS is looking for an Industrial Maintenance Technician.

Location: Arlington, Texas

Start Date: Hiring Immediately

Wages: From $25+ hourly (based on position and experience) Temp-Hire

Description:

• Participate in Total and Preventive Maintenance (TPM) for all equipment and facilities
• Install, repair, and maintain equipment and facilities
• Analyze mechanical and operational problems, make necessary corrections for maximum production and quality
• Record operational data, propose continuous improvement actions, manage spare parts inventory
• Train operators on equipment operation, maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Actively participate in work teams, perform other duties as requested

Job Requirements:

• Technical diploma and/or journeyman card
• Electrical wiring and mechanical skills
• Working knowledge of Quality systems, Health, Safety, and Environmental skills
• Strong technical problem-solving skills, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow instructions, good communication skills
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, exert force, perform bending, twisting, and work overtime as needed

Safety Requirements:

• Steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and Kevlar sleeves required in production areas
• May be exposed to flying objects, weld fumes, and moderate burns, cuts, and bruises
• Significant temperature changes in the facility (heat in summer, cold in winter)
