This role is responsible for scheduling production jobs from the weekly production schedule created by corporate planning.

What You Will Do:

Schedule the production jobs to the correct work center from the weekly production schedule sent by the corporate planner.
Verify raw material and packaging material for the scheduled plan to ensure the production lines run would interruptions due to shortages.
Works cooperatively with associates responsible for material master data to ensure new products are aligned with the correct resources.
Measures production performance to plan and resolve scheduling conflicts
Ensures conformance to production schedule
Plans and coordinates raw material orders and receipts
Develops and maintains open order reports
Analyzes, modifies, and maintains product line forecasts to assure accuracy in coordination with the corporate operations planning group
Coordinating with Planner to reconcile jobs and materials
Provides formal and informal reporting on plant manufacturing plan execution
May direct the efforts or members of the materials management department to complete various assignments, including training newer personal on use of the Production Planning systems
Other duties as assigned

Position Details:

Plant location: Winston-Salem NC
Work week and shift: Monday-Friday 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Compensation: $20.00 -$23.00 Depending on Experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
3+ years of experience in an administrative role
Strong mainframe and PC computer skills in Excel, Word and Access
Strong SAP knowledge
Good numerical skills
No immigration sponsorship

Physical Demands:

Must be able to lift/carry 20 lbs
Must be able to stand upwards of 1 hours
Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical exam

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field
Good written and verbal communication skills
Professional demeanor; comfortable working with vendors and internal customers
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
