    About the Job

    • Facility: GSS MN Brainerd
    • Shift: Varies
    • Job Schedule: PRN

    We require you to support multiple locations within a 150-mile radius of your permanent address. You will be eligible for:

    • Mileage reimbursement
    • An additional $5 per hour float premium
    • $25 per hour weekend shift differential
    • $25 per hour evening/night shift differential

    Requirements include:

    • 3 months of previous experience in Long Term Care (6 months preferred)
    • No contract required

    Responsibilities

    You will be responsible for:

    • Demonstrating competency and practicing nursing expertise/knowledge
    • Caring for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment
    • Coordinating care, resident assessment, education, and various other nursing interventions

    Nursing Expertise

    You may be required to serve as a charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel.

    Education and Licensure

    You must have:

    • A graduate degree from a nationally accredited nursing program (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing, or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation)
    • An unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring, or multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact state
