Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists to execute treatment plans and interventions aimed at addressing speech, language, and communication goals.
Support in conducting assessments and evaluations to acquire pertinent information about students' speech and language capabilities.
Administer individual or group therapy sessions to students under the guidance of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
Implement diverse therapeutic techniques and exercises to enhance speech production, articulation, language comprehension, and expressive language skills.
Assist students in developing and refining social communication skills.
Educate students and their families on strategies and techniques to enhance communication beyond therapy sessions.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) from a recognized certifying organization.
Previous experience working with individuals with communication disorders is preferred.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
