Senior Machine Learning Engineer

We are currently partnered with an innovative AI startup who are building next-generation AI solutions for defense & critical infrastructure.

The business work closely with the DoD to build and deploy advanced technology to improve defensive intelligence.

With substantial backing exceeding $10M from leading investors, the business boast a diverse team comprising professionals with backgrounds ranging from leading tech firms and military orgs.

The business are currently looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join the team and take ownership of complex AI/ML problems.

Skills/experience required:

MS or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or related fields; PhD or equivalent experience preferred.

Strong proficiency in at least one leading ML framework, such as Tensorflow or PyTorch.
Expertise in coding and data science, encompassing the entire model engineering process from data acquisition to deployment.
Proficiency in Probability Theory and other relevant mathematical areas pertinent to ML.

A track record of delivering high-quality work in architecting and training neural networks, ideally supported by a publication record showcasing novel contributions.

Extensive experience in computer vision, object detection, self-supervised learning, multimodal sensor fusion, and/or zero-shot learning.
Familiarity with robust models and handling out-of-distribution data during testing.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
