RESPONSIBLE FOR:


Computed Tomography (CT) Technologistsspecialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectionalimages to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CTTechnologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographicexaminations in accordance with all prescribed standards under thedirect guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologistsprovide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal,pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Demonstrates ability to performadvance CT imaging (Cardiac and Vascular) and iscompetent/proficient with cross-sectional anatomy and physiology.
Provides more complex technical care necessary to meet identifiedpatientneeds.

Qualifications:

MINIMUMEDUCATION REQUIRED:


Graduate of an AMA approvedRadiologic Technology program.

MINIMUMEXPERIENCE REQUIRED:


Three (3) years ofexperience as a Radiological Technologist with four plus (4 ) yearsin CT.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONREQUIRED BY LAW:


Registered by the AmericanRegistry of Radiologic Technology (R) (CT).
Advancedcertification by ARRT in Computed Tomography(CT).

ADDITIONALQUALIFICATIONS:


BLS certified.
