Job Overview: With planned expansion for additional stores to open this year, the ideal candidate will be a strong assistant to the store manager who will be responsible maintaining and achieving high operational and merchandising standards and sales goals, while building a highly motivated team and developing top talent to the next level. You will work to foster client's loyalty, brand awareness and expand our brand presence while spearheading these efforts with a customer-centric attitude / concierge-like service. RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Set and execute sales performance goals to increase profitability
  • Maintain orderly, presentable appearance of the store
  • Oversee stock and store operations
  • Merchandise store weekly
  • Meet sales goals, consistently drive revenue
  • Continuously motivate staff to meet sales + productivity goals
  • Daily, weekly, monthly sales monitoring analysis, inventory management and reporting
  • Constantly updating the team on relevant information and sharing reports and analysis information
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the merchandise, ensure selling staff is educated in all aspects of product knowledge
  • Hire, train, and assess store employee's productivity and performance
  • REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
  • 2+ years' Retail supervisor or assistant store management experience
  • Customer centric with a positive attitude
  • Strong business acumen-use of business analytics
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrate leadership and strong problem-solving, multitasking and organizational skills
  • Ability to establish + maintain strong client relationships
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • The ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of personalities with the desire to be a team player.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment with limited resources and minimal supervision.
  • Ability to travel frequently to other store locations and corporate office.
  • Understanding of Beauty and personal care is a plus
  • Additional language skills is a plus
  • REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
  • 2-3 years of hands-on retail experience
  • Experience in managing and developing staff
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience in merchandising
  • Experience in marketing
