- Pay: $21 - $45 an hour based on experience
- Set schedule: Monday - Friday
- Rotational on-call

- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in HVAC system design, installation, or maintenance.
- High School Diploma or GED. Technical training in related field is preferred.
- Must hold appropriate equipment certifications.
- Clean background and able to pass a drug test.
- Must comply with all safety processes and procedures.

- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be physically able to meet physical expectations for the job
- Perform startup of heating, air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration equipment, as well as other products in accordance with company requirements and manufacture specifications
- Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other systems to ensure they meet design specifications and regulatory requirements
- Perform testing and calibration of equipment and systems to verify functionality and efficiency
- Identify and troubleshoot any issues or discrepancies during the start-up phase, and collaborate with project managers and construction teams to resolve them promptly
- Prepare detailed reports documenting inspection findings, test results, and any issues encountered during the start-up process
- Communicate effectively with clients and project stakeholders to provide updates on start-up progress and address any concerns or questions they may have
- Ensure that all work meets quality standards and adheres to relevant safety regulations and building codes
- Install and program field controllers, wiring, sensors, thermostats, valves, actuators, and other HVAC control equipment
- Comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Travel to different project sites throughout the day
- Complete all necessary Start Up documentation and reports
- Assist other Start-up Technicians
- Troubleshoot advanced electrical circuits
- Handle multiple ongoing projects at a time, splitting time between projects to ensure work is meeting the completion schedule
- Perform pre-start up walk with site superintendents to identify any issues that need to be addressed prior to the commencement of start up
