Provides tools and information to assist the patient's family after discharge. Documents the education provided and the patient/family response to the education. -Systematically evaluates quality and effectiveness of Nursing Practice and uses the results of quality improvement activities to initiate changes in individual nursing practice and care delivery. Engages in self evaluation of practice, identifying strengths and areas in which professional development would be beneficial. Takes accountability to increase knowledge and enhance skill. The Registered Nurse applies knowledge of nursing theory, technical, and communication skills in delivering high quality compassionate care to patients and families.
