Sewing Technician - 1st Shift - Mills River - Up to $17.00/hr.

PrideStaff is recruiting for a Sewing Technician for a manufacturing company located in Mills River.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for cutting, marking, and fastener setting on raw materials and sub-assemblies.
• Operate related equipment including but not limited to: rivet machine, drill press, snap machine, strip cutter, hot wire, hot knives and heat sealer.
• Operate sewing equipment including but not limited to programmable tacking machines and be able to conduct routine sewing machine maintenance such as: thread needles, changing needles, bobbin changes and oiling machines.
• Set up sewing machine with proper thread, tension settings, and programmable operation settings as applicable.
• Package and label product for shipping.
• Assemble and test hardware.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Assembly and/or sewing experience preferred
• Demonstrated attention to detail
• Ability to read and accurately use length scale
• Usage of templates, fixtures and markers

Hours of Work: Monday – Thursday - 6:30am-5pm or 7am-5:30pm
