    System High - Network Architect Job Opportunity

    Location:
    Schriever AFB, CO - Peterson AFB, CO

    Type of Position:
    Full Time

    Compensation:
    $100,000 - $120,000.00

    Work Schedule:
    Day

    Description:

    The role of a Network Architect at System High involves the organization, installation, and support of complex government computer systems, encompassing LANs, WANs, network segments, and intranets. As a key member of the team, you will be involved in the design, analysis, and maintenance of network models, contributing to decisions on hardware and software upgrades. Specifically, your responsibilities will revolve around offering technical support to end-users and assisting in various high-profile Special Access Programs for DoD agencies. This pivotal position requires a proactive approach and expertise in cybersecurity measures.

    Key Responsibilities Include:
    • Autonomous and efficient execution of tasks in a self-sustained manner
    • Leading IT operations team for network management and cybersecurity operations
    • Implementing and managing cybersecurity tools for system security and performance
    • Assisting in security assessments of servers and network devices
    • Creating operational checklists for system maintenance and security procedures
    • Operating monitoring tools and SIEM capabilities
    • Executing cybersecurity operations for network management
    • Analyzing technical risks and implementing new cybersecurity techniques
    • Collaborating in security incident response and risk management processes
    Experience:
    5 - 7 years of relevant experience
    Educational Requirement:
    Bachelor's degree in the related field or equivalent experience
    Certifications:
    DoD Directive M certification required within 6 months of hire
    Security Clearance:
    Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility
    Eligibility for Special Access Program Information
    Counterintelligence polygraph may be needed
    Other Requirements:
    Proficiency in Microsoft and Linux server systems, network technologies, and cybersecurity concepts
    Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
    Knowledge of network security policies and risk management frameworks
    Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
