    Full-time

    •Maintain shift coverage and primary supervision and support of residential clients.

    •Set and contribute to a safe, dignified, orderly atmosphere by enforcing program rules, policies, and procedures as well as through observing stated DBH and CFSA grievance policy. Act as a role model - guiding clients and facilitating appropriate behavior about daily living skills, self-care, personal interaction, social relationships and constructive time management.

    •Enforce the curfew regulation and conduct regular rounds of the facility and hourly rounds. Rounds include the interior (client living quarters, bathrooms, community rooms) and exterior of the building.

    •Ensure that the participants living quarters are safe and well-organized.

    •Limit access to facility to participants, staff, and authorized visitors and service providers.

    •Help to ensure adequate health and safety standards are maintained throughout the facility.

    •Interact with participants to share information, provide supplies, conduct intakes, and facilitate interventions as necessary.

    •Maintain appropriate professional boundaries with clients and staff; Respond to client requests in a professional and courteous manner; Observe and adhere to client confidentiality standards.

    •Maintain thorough and accurate records, files, correspondence and statistics; Complete necessary documentation (both hand-written and computer based/data entry) in a timely, accurate, complete and legible manner. May include, but not limited to: notations in the shelter log, bed roster, incident reports, late arrivals, sign-in sheets, referrals, showers and laundry schedules, and any other forms used or as directed by your supervisor.

    •Respond appropriately to emergencies including contacting appropriate staff and supervisors, interacting with police, fire, and medical personnel as needed.

    •Generate and submit all incident reports(include detailed information of the incident and names of first responders)

    •Maintain and promote the cooperative, harmonious, teamwork environment DBH/CFSA strives to promote within the workplace; Maintain and promote an atmosphere of dignity and respect in line with the philosophy and policies of DBH/CFSA.

    •Ensure effective communication of priority information to all necessary staff and shifts.

    •Answer residential site telephone in a professional and courteous manner; relay timely and accurate messages. Provide information upon request about available services offered.

    •Participate in staff and shift change meetings as required.

    •Perform daily maintenance; prepare living units for incoming participants (clean room and change linen), clean and maintain the kitchen, bathrooms, living room, dining area, computer area, basement, laundry room and staff office area.

    •Assist with preparing resident meals as needed.

    •Appropriate disposal of garbage .

    •Complete designated shift-specific tasks.

    •Reasonable hours of overtime may be required from time to time. Advance notice will be provided when possible. All employees are expected to work such hours as needed. We cannot guarantee overtime will be available.

    Pay: $45, $50,000.00 per year

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications: Candidate must have a minimum of a BACHELORS DEGREE with at least 2 years documented experience working in a group home setting. Support individual care plan goals, develop independent living skills and conduct groups as needed. Must be flexible to work shifts including weekends and holidays. Must be able to lift up to 25lbs. Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job without reasonable accommodations, Computer skills, written and oral skills are required.

    Minimum of a Bachelors Degree (Required)

    US work authorization (Required)

    Education:
    • At least a BA degree in the Human Services field with at least 3 years Case Management experience serving at risk youth populations and or young adults in the areas of homelessness, child welfare, mental health or education. Individuals without a degree in any of the human services fields who serves as TAY Specialist or any individual providing direct services
