The Toyota Service Manager is responsible for overseeing all operations within the service department to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction, efficient workflow, profitability, and compliance with Toyota brand standards.
+Responsibilities
- Manage daily service department operations
- Ensure repair orders are completed accurately
- Safeguard customer data and privacy during communication in emails or calls.
Monitor shop efficiency
technician productivity,
labor sales
Maintain proper staffing levels
technician skill alignment
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction CSI scores
Resolve customer complaints professionally promptly
Promote a customer-first culture aligned with Toyotas Customer for Life philosophy
Oversee service write-ups transparent communication
Develop manage departmental budgets
KPIs such as ELR hours per RO gross profit Control expenses including labor parts usage warranty administration Maximize service warranty profitability maintaining compliance Recruit train coach evaluate support staff Conduct performance reviews implement development plans Promote positive safe productive work environment Enforce dealership policies procedures Ensure accurate timely submission warranty claims Maintain compliance Toyota Warranty Policies dealership procedures Stay current on Toyota Service Bulletins recalls technical updates Ensure OSHA dealership safety standards followed Implement Toyota Production System TPS best practices Maintain clean organized efficient service department Participate in Toyota training audits meetings Support continuous improvement initiatives INDJTA
