    We are Lockheed MartinLockheed Martin is looking for a senior level Propulsion Engineer to continue our 75 year tradition of developing new air-vehicle systems.

    This position will support the Propulsion competency. Responsibilities may involve advanced weapons system integration, installed propulsion performance, propulsion system modeling and propulsion system installation. The candidate will expect to be working extensively with other Aeronautics engineering disciplines and propulsion system companies. Travel in support of the program efforts may also be required. Good communication skills and strong interpersonal and presentation skills are highly desirable. Specific experience with propulsion integration, derivative development programs, or support of legacy aircraft programs is highly desirable.
    Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires a DoD security clearance.

    This position will be located in Marietta, GA Engineering AeronauticsBasic Qualifications Bachelor or Masters degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, or equivalent Engineering discipline Experience with production Engineering supportDesired skills Prior experience working Propulsion-related sustainment activities of in-service (legacy) aircraft Experience with Engineering drawing release process.

    Prior experience with Catia V5 or CADData Net Experience with component and system-level qualification testing.

    Work Schedule InformationLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.

    These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.


    Colorado Pay StatementPay Rate:


    The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $82,200 - $157,500 .

    Non-represented full-time employees:

    accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.

    Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.

    PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
    This position is incentive plan eligible.


    Premium Pay StatementPay Rate:


    The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $94,500 - $178,000.
