    Our Distribution Center and Transportation Partners are key to helping stock H-E-B Stores and keeping our supply chain moving all over Texas and Mexico.

    As a Dock Worker for H-E-B Transportation, you'll load and unload trailers, safely and thoroughly. You'll operate MHE and promote a safe, clean work environment.

    What is the work?

    Transportation Operations:

    • Plans and facilitates daily loading and unloading of H-EB trailers of specific reusables (e.g., pallets, plastic trays and crates, boxes, wrap, ties, assorted returns)
    • Loads and unloads trailers in a safe and efficient manner in compliance with SOPs; unloads completely
    • Maintains clean trailers; operates wash equipment; washes trailers as needed
    • Operates material handling equipment
    • Promotes a safe and clean work environment
    • Maintains a sense of urgency; always prompt and punctual
    • Escalates issues outside parameters to appropriate parties
    What is your background?

    • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
    • 0+ years of experience
    Do you have what it takes to be a fit as a Dock Worker for H-E-B Transportation?

    • Knowledge of warehouse process for sanitation, including cleaning agents, supplies, and related tools
    • Working knowledge of related local, state, and federal regulations (preferred)
    • Math skills (+, , *, /)
    • Reading and writing skills
    • Organization skills


    • Bilingual (English

    • Spanish) skills a plus
    • Ability to communicate effectively
    • Ability to work in a team environment
    • Ability to operate machines and equipment in a safe, independent manner
    • Ability to obtain and maintain certification in pallet jack and forklift operation
    • Ability to operate H-EB inhouse systems (e.g., TINA)
