**Job Title: CNC Lathe Machinist**

**Job Description**

Join our team as a CNC Lathe Machinist, working primarily with a Fanuc controlled Doosan 4100 or 300. In this role, you will be expected to understand G&M codes and all commonly used symbols for G&M. Your primary responsibilities will include receiving a Job Order, loading the program into the machine, and making necessary changes to refraction points to ensure the effective running of parts. You will be operating state-of-the-art equipment including 2-axis, 4-axis, and live tooling.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

**Work Site**

This is a fully on-site position in Rockford, Illinois.

**Work Environment**

This position is based in a small, family-owned job shop. The work environment is temperature controlled at a constant 73 degrees year round due to the specific machinery requirements. The typical shift runs from 8am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday. While Saturday work is currently voluntary, we encourage employees to participate at least once per month. Overtime, when necessary, may require an earlier start time. Currently, many employees are working approximately 12 hours per day Monday to Friday, with 12 hour shifts running from 4:30am to 4:30pm. We are open to candidates interested in 1st or 2nd shifts.
