$5000 Retention Bonus

• $1000 after 90 days of continuous employment
• $2000 after 180 days of continuous employment
• $2000 after 1 year of continuous employment.

The Banquet Chef is responsible for reviewing banquet menus and preparing recipes accordingly. Responsible for ordering, preparing, and presentation of all food for banquet functions. The Banquet Chef is responsible for the supervision of all banquet food preparation personnel and associated personnel matters.

Job Functions

• The Banquet Chef will personally and through delegated duties, prepare all menu items for banquets.
• Specify and order all food for banquet functions.
• The Banquet Chef is responsible for ensuring the quality and quantity of food products used in banquets.
• Ensure that all sanitation standards are consistently practiced by all members of the banquet prep staff.
• The Banquet Chef will ensure that all preventative and repair maintenance on all banquet equipment is completed.
• Maintain food and labor costs at an acceptable level.
• The Banquet Chef is responsible for personnel-related matters including but not limited to interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, evaluating, promoting, counseling, and discharging.

Position Requirements:

• Five (5) years of experience in the same or similar position preferred.
• Must be able to cook a variety of cuisines in a banquet setting.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task.
• Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time during shift.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
