- Job Details:
- Fulltime Position: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Call Schedule: 7 days a month, inclusive of ED call, cross-coverage, trauma cases, prescription management, and general patient care
- Hospital Credentialing: Bon Secours Southside Regional Medical Center
- Practice Setting: Combination of outpatient and multispecialty group practice
- Typical Day: On-call availability for ED emergencies, scheduled surgeries, and office consultations for post-operative follow-up
- Daily Patient Load: Approximately 40 patients per clinic day
- Patient Age Range: 15% adolescents, 65% adults, 20% geriatric patients
- Required Skills and Training: Board Certified or Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon, with fellowship training in upper extremity orthopedic surgery
- EMR Usage: Experience with EPIC for both inpatient and outpatient settings, telemedicine consultations, monitoring, rounding, and referrals
- Practice Support: Collaborative team including CMA, LPN, and Practice Manager
